A Brief History of Chanel
Founded in 1910 by the visionary Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, Chanel revolutionized the world of fashion by challenging the restrictive styles of her era. Beginning with hats in her Paris boutique, Chanel expanded into clothing that emphasized elegance through simplicity—introducing jersey dresses, the little black dress, and a modern approach to women’s style grounded in comfort and sophistication.
