Uncompromising validation of Chanel authenticity, backed by years of operational expertise.
A Brief History of Chanel
Founded in 1910 by the visionary Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, Chanel revolutionized the world of fashion by challenging the restrictive styles of her era. Beginning with hats in her Paris boutique, Chanel expanded into clothing that emphasized elegance through simplicity—introducing jersey dresses, the little black dress, and a modern approach to women’s style grounded in comfort and sophistication.
In 1921, the house launched Chanel No. 5, now one of the most iconic fragrances of all time. The interlocking CC logo and the quilted 2.55 handbag, introduced in February 1955, became symbols of timeless luxury. Under the creative direction of Karl Lagerfeld from 1983 to 2019 and after him, Virginie Viard (until 2024), Chanel maintained an unmistakable identity built on craftsmanship, exclusivity, and innovation. With now Mathieu Blazy, who joined Chanel in 2025, the brand spans haute couture, ready-to-wear, accessories, watches, and fine jewelry—remaining one of the most influential luxury houses in the world.

The Most Counterfeited Chanel Models
These iconic Chanel pieces are frequently targeted by counterfeiters. We recommend professional authentication to ensure your item is authentic.
Chanel Classic Flap Bag (Medium & Jumbo sizes)
Featuring the signature CC turn-lock and diamond quilting, this model is one of the world’s most iconic handbags—making it a prime target for counterfeiters.
Chanel 2.55 Reissue
Loved for its Mademoiselle lock and chain strap, the 2.55 is often copied with poor-quality quilting, incorrect lock designs, or inaccurate chain construction.
Chanel Boy Bag
Its structured silhouette and modern hardware attract counterfeiters who replicate the boxy shape but fail to match weight, proportions, and trim details.
Chanel Wallet on Chain (WOC)
Compact and accessible in price, the WOC is among the most mass-produced fakes, often differentiated by misaligned logos and inconsistent interior layouts.
Chanel costume/fashion jewelry
From CC earrings to layered chains, Chanel jewelry is copied extensively, often lacking correct markings, weight, or plating quality.
